Fh is wearing black tux with silver vest. Groomsmen are wearing pewter colored vests. What color ties? was thinking silver for FH and black for GM but should they wear pewter? Or have everyone wear black, including Groom????
I think you should do ties to match the color of the vests. Everyone in black wouldn't be bad, but IMO the groom needs to stand out a bit(not like anyone shouldnt know who the groom is or anything, but its nice).

we're doing the opposite from you. my fiance wanted a stripped grey/black tie to go with his silver vests. the other groomsmen will be in purples, and their ties will match their vests.
