Tux Cost

What is the average tuxedo cost for the GM? We found a tux for the GM for $170 and got the guy down to $150 but still don't know if that's alot. FH doesn't remember any tux he's got in the past being that much.

Ours are about 120 at men's warehouse with a coupon and FI's is free because we are getting 5, that quote doesn't sound too bad but if you are getting multiple tux's they should throw his in free I think.

Yea his is free and dads are half off but I just didn't know if that was too much to ask the GM to spend.

I was quoted anywhere from $145 - $179 for the same tux at different places

try esquire in lynbrook, the most expensive i found there was 130. Ours is 120 for a brand new navy tux that just came to the market.

we're paying $115 at Karako's for a tux everyone wanted to charge us at least $150 for!! Some places were asking for over $200!!! Got a GREAT deal!

we're paying 170 and FH's free.

we chose a 'nicer' tux...whatever that freakin' means....at men's warehouse (we have a couple out of towners who couldn't go to a local place)

Groom's is free, Our dad's are $95 and GM are $145

We went to a few places and this place had the nicest looking tux outta all of them and will give it to us for $150. The fathers are half off and FH is free but I just wanted to make sure $150 wasn't asking the GM to spend too much. Thanks girls!

my fh, dads and groomsmen are all wearing suits instead of tuxs. I figured that for basically the same amount of money they could buy and keep a suit. FH's 3pc suit is 185$ but he wears suits all the time so he'll definitely get good use out of it. And anyway my girls will be buying their dresses, and although every bride thinks their brides maids will wear the dresses again it is very unlikely. So i think it was a pretty good idea to have the boys buy their suits...
