Can anyone recommend a great tux rental place? We need a national chain because almost everyone in our bridal party lives in a different state!
Thanks!!!

Re: Tux help
I am using After hours, they are now affiliated with Mens Wearhouse.
Even though someone complained the other day that After Hours lost their info after the merge...I think that was just a little glitch

Re: Tux help
We're going to be using Men's Warehouse for the same reason....one guy in Colorado, one in Vermont, one in DC, and FH and one GM in NJ.....and both dads on LI. so yeah! it made the most sense....we're waiting a couple of weeks to go set up our group though, b/c we went a few weeks ago and were told they were in the process of combining lines with After Hours, so they didn't know what tuxes etc they would end up having by our weddng....so we're going to go probably end of January to set it up

Re: Tux help
You actually do NOT need to use a national chain. Any of your GMs can be fitted at any tux place and get their measurements, its gratitude thing, they all will do it. If you find something that you like that isnt a national chain, you can still do it.

Re: Tux help
we are using Tuxedo Park in Carle place.
We have 2 guys out of state and all they need is to get measured at a tux shop my them (its a common curtesy among the industry)
i know ppl are weary b/c the guys need to try it on, but tuxedo park has them try on when they pickup and tailor and change anything on site if need eb

Oh really! That is good to know. I will keep that in mind if I look elsewhere.
Thanks.

We used Esquire Tuxedo....It was the only tuxedo place can get us a brown tux. Mike is great and very accomodating!! The best part of that store is, they have in house tailor

Re: Tux help
I've heard horror stories from Mens Warehouse. I'd follow the advice of previous brides. Go with a local place and have the groomsmen send their measurements in.

we used Esquire too and Mike is just wonderful and accomodating. Because he ordered DH's tux from another store I was worried if something was really wrong we'd have trouble correcting it. So Mike got it on Wed for a Sun wedding to give us extra time so I wouldn't be nervous about it. He loves what he does and it shows.

Re: Tux help
Men's Wearhouse is great. One of the guys in the bridal party is from California, and he was able to order his suit there and get it in NY. We didn't have any problems with the tuxes.
