Tux help

Do the dads typically wear different accessories than the groom and best man.

I have two fathers, my FH, and his best man. No ushers.

I was thinking that my FH and his BM should be an ivory or black vests and ties and the dads with no vests and bowties.

Anyone have any experience or suggestions?

My colors are ivory and black.

We actually went today to rent tuxes and the man there was extremely helpful! We went to Esquire Tuxedos in Bellmore and met with Michael.

FH is going to wear a different tux from everyone else, but very similar, and all the other men are going to wear a two button tux. (FH's is a double lapel.) My step-father is going to wear whatever he wants and a charcoal tie. FH will wear a white tie. The rest of the wedding party, including FFIL (who is his best man) will wear pistachio ties to match my BMs).

Wherever you go to rent, ask them what they suggest. In our case, he was extremely helpful!

Our colors were navy blue and black, everyone wore black tuxes-- DH wore a blue vest with long tie, groomsmen wore blue vest with bow ties and dads wore black vests with bow ties.

Oh and my husband and the dads wore flat collars, the groomsmen all wore wingtips
