Tux help...UPDATED

Okay, I demanded that FH finally arrange all the tux stuff. I bargained, if he does it this week, I'll go golfing with him Saturday...needless to say, he wants to go tonight!

Here's the delimma:

Our GM are all over the US so we need to go with a chain. We want black shirts with the tuxes, not white. After Hours rents them. Mens Wearhouse makes you buy them. I've heard terrible things about After Hours though!!! And After Hours is over an hour from 2 of our GMs whereas Mens Wearhouse is only over an hour from one....

what do we do!?!

AND now I heard they're one company...so does it even matter?!?!

EEEK...HELP!

UPDATE : we went with After Hours because we loved this tux....we got this with a red tie and red pocketsquare...black square toed shoes and ta-da, we're done!

I have GM's all over country too lots of after hours locations... , you already know I went with After Hours, one of my BM's went with them last year and everything was fine, youre always gonna have mixed reviews...
I chose no mens wearhouse because of the black shirt thing, but if you feel more comfortable with them, just buy the black shirts... FH tux supposed to come in soon, let ya know if there were any probs so far...lol

Thanks! Nothing is ever easy....

The way it has worked in the past with all the wedding I have been in is we get the grooms tux in the city the wedding is in.

They can get measured at Any tux shop then send in the measurements. The fitting can be done the day before for guys

And guys unlike girls who have to do it At least 6 months ahead only do it 2 mostly.

Yeah, we just went there recently so FH could get his tux for his friends wedding and we definitly did NOT have a easy time. We wont be using them for our wedding.

Well, our experience was pretty good. And after a few calls it turns out by January all After Hours will be Mens Wearhouses. Since we're Feb., it doesn't even matter. We got a good deal and hot tuxes so I'm happy!

You know I'm crashing! I live down the block from your RH. I can be back to my house and in my jammies like nothing happend before the cops come--haha j/k

Anyway- it seems like you have the tux situation under control, but I wanted to tell you that eventhough your GM are all over (ours are too) they can get measured at a tux shop near them. It is a courtesy in the tux business. They can give you their measurements and you can order a tux from a local shop if you wanted to.

Just though I'd let you know in case MW didn't work out. I'm sure its fine though- I havent heard any problemos from them.
