My FH and GM are wearing tuxes for the wedding. What should FOB wear for formal wedding, tux or suit?

My dad and stepdad are wearing tuxes, as well as my FFIL but I don't think there is any set protocol, really whatever you like best and whatever they are comfortable in will be great. At my wedding the three fathers are going to be wearing matching silver vests and ties from Men Warehouse so that they look in unison in pictures. But it really depends on personal tastes and comfort.

If the groom and grooms men are wearing tuxes then I would ask your dad and future father in law to wear tuxes.

I agree with jillian. Whatever theyre most comfortable in but I think it looks nice if the bridal party are wearing tuxes they should to.. its a special day for them as well

For picture purposes I have asked all immediate family to wear tux and all seem to be okay with it.

My dad is wearing the same thing the groom and groomsmen are, tuxes.
