Tux Problem... Out of Town Groomsmen

I have 2 groomsmen how live in NJ. How do you get them tuxes without having the schlep out to Long Island just to be fitted.

We went to After Hours tuxes in Massapequa and they were terrible. So disorganized, dirty...looked like they had no idea of what they were doing.

Has anyone had tout-of-town groomsmen in their bridal party?

6 out of the 7 guys in our bridal party live in NJ. Recently, one of them got married and used Men's Warehouse. FH got his from the location in Plainview. The bride got a real low price of $85 or $90 for everything. After the wedding FH gave his to one of the other guys and it was returned in NJ. They were very easy to work with. FH and I are going to use them for our wedding b/c there are locations in NJ and LI.

most of our BP is out-of-town. they can go to any tux shop in their area and get fitted. they then call their measurements into your shop. very simple!!

My brother will get measured at home-St Thomas. FH will take the measurements with him and give it to the contact at the tux store. So when my brother comes to the states, all my bro will have to do is pick it up.

Will any tux shop do measuresments even if you aren't going to rent from them? Or should they go to a local tailor?

We have GMs in North Carolina & Massachusetts. The Tux Shop of NY is who we used on Bell Blv. in Queens - they gave us forms for the out of town GMs to fill out. They both got measured somewhere in their area & mailed the forms back. No problems so far.

I had a similar problem. My FH and I live in NJ (so do his brother and BIL) while my dad and brothers live in NY. We went to a place in NJ called Colemans Tuxedos and the guy there set us up with the tuxes. He had a friend at a tuxedo store in Babylon called Camelot Tuxedos and he told him the exact tuxedo style and just had the NY guys go get measured there. You can do the exact same thing but just reverse it. The guys at both tuxedo stores have been great. FM for me information!
