tux question

tux question

What color tux does the grrom, brides father and grooms grandfather typically wear?
I am confused with this, and FH is no help..LOL
also my soon to be step father I want to wear a tux as well would he wear the same one as everyone else?

It tends to vary by time of day and formality of the wedding. Gray, black, or white are the 'normal' colors. I think black is the most formal. It is also more traditional. Although we had a Sunday afternoon affair, DH and GM's all wore black. Ask at a tux store for more advice.
