Tux question

Tux question

For any girls who have gone with FH or plan to go with FH to look before they actually order them how soon did you go?

Also they should be ordered about 4 months before right?

we went in the begining of Oct for our Jan wedding and he gave me full control of picking them out, thankfully

Haha! I don't think I will have total control however I want the guys to wear all black tux's, black shirt, black vest, with a fuschia tie. He has VETO'D it over and over... then one day last week, I was having a bad day and he says out of no where. 'Babe, if it will make you smile we'll all wear the pink ties' .... Well it did make me smile and I am holding him to it.

we are supposed to go this week.. and we are going together... if I didn't go i am sure FH would find a way to get NY Met's tuxes

we went in september and FH let me have control. we really didn't disagree though, we both really liked what he ended up with. most of the guys went between oct and nov....actually most of them just went somewhere more local to get measured and then called in there measurements to the tuxedo place.

I'm giving him complete control with this. He will do a great job picking them out and will look sharp, I'll let him know the color scheme, and he will find a good tux. I know nothing about tuxes, and he's been in weddings where he hated what he had to wear, so he'll do a good job of picking something good.

I don't know when he has to go though. 4 months??

We went 3 weeks before our wedding. we had 5 other guys that needed to get theres and they all went within a week.
he picked out a tux and than i chose the vest.

I think it depends on where you rent from...but you can go a few weeks before and be okay. Unless there is a particular tux style / designer, I wouldn't stress.

FH is going with my cousin this week since he is on vacation and in NY this week. He will go with the rest next month. I am not planning on going with him but if he asks me to, I will.

fh and i just went on saturday.
we went to mens warehouse and they told us that all the guys have to be measured a month before the wedding in case of weight gain/loss.

We just set ours up. We are using Mens Wearhouse and they need to be ordered 2 weeks before the wedding.

They also said if you have kids in the bridal party that are renting tuxedos, wait as long as possible since kids grow pretty quick, to order theirs

4 months should be plenty of time. He might need you there just to make sure the vests/tie doesn't clash with the dresses.

we went like 2 weeks ago. as with everything else we talked and made decision together.

tho there is now a tie vs. bow tie and blue vs. white argument FH is having with himself
