Does the Father of the Bride wear the same style/color tux as the groomsmen? I think they are going with a gray vest would my dad wear gray or just black? Clueless - any help would be appreciated

Our GM are wearing grey vests/black jackets. FH is wearing white tie/vest black jacket
My dad (FHs dad passed away) is wearing black vest and tie (same style as the guys and FH) with black jacket the same as everyone My dad is also wearing different shoes. He INSISTS on wearing the capezios looking ones, the rest of the guys are wearing a more squarish toe.
