Does anyone know how far in advance tuxes arrive to the rental store? We're using men's wearhouse and because of all the mixed reviews, I'm wondering if today is too early to call and ask if they have them in yet. I want to be on top of them so they don't mess up. How early could you pick up the tux?
we didn't use men's warehouse but we could pick them up the thursday before our saturday wedding
Doesn't hurt to call and check on the status. We used Men's Wearhouse and while communication was horrendous (we got about 8 different stories from 10 different people every time we went in) there were no physical problems with the tuxes. We picked them up the Tues. before the Friday wedding.
I think they come in 2 or 3 days before at Men's Wearhouse. If I were you I would call and stay on top of it. That's what I plan on doing with them.

My advice.....have them pick up on Wednesday or Thursday.

How come they wouldn't alter it the day they picked up on Thursday? Over the phone they said they would alter it the same day, in the store. Thanks for the heads up cause I'll definately get all of them to pick it up on Thursday.
Thanks! Hopefully if we go there right when it arrives they'll have time to alter it on the spot and then take it home. Or at least go back the same day to pick it up before the store closes.

My understanding is they dont and they ship it out somewhere and you get it back the next day.
That would make me feel so much better if they did it on the spot!

They do?! When I called they said they do it in-house which I assumed meant in the store.
They said they do it in the store and if the guys go in to try it on right when it arrives at the store around 12-2pm, then they can come back before 9pm (closing time) to pick it up after alterations. We're using the store in Edgewater, NJ since that's where his groomsmen are. If they go to try it later in the day than that, they may have to go back the next day depending on how busy they are.
