Tux rentals--how much are your guys paying?

Tux rentals--how much are your guys paying?

My FH and I went to our first tux store to check out prices. While his tux is free, the other guys were quoted at $125 for everything (tux, vest, shoes, cufflinks).

Is that high or average?

I want to go comparison shop, but my FH doesn't want to go to another store (he is not big on clothes shopping so I'm lucky I got him to try on the few he did), so any clues as to prices would really help.

Thanks!

Mens Wearhouse

If you mention the knot coupon, its $49.99 plus tax and insurance. Total comes to $59.99, and they are very nice and helpful.

I second TaraAlissa (by the way thank you for telling me I can tell MW after I booked about the coupon on theknot.com because I saved about $20 for the guys!). I do think this is on the cheaper side of tux rentals because most I hear pay about $100 or so.

men's warehouse for us too. We needed a lot of tuxedoes so FH's is free, plus I got free vest and shoes for all of our guys. We have 13 tuxes.
The guys will pay $59.99 with tax.

*WARNING** Men's Wearhouse

Ladies, I had the worst experience with Men's Wearhouse for my wedding on the 16th of June. They were screwing things up since the guys started going for their fittings, and long story short...wound up giving 3 of the guys the wrong tuxs the day before the wedding. Also, the same 3 guys, plus my father had the wrong size shoes.
The salespeople will tell you that the tuxs come in a few days before the wedding, and that if there are any problems, they can be corrected...they say they will even fly tuxs in overnight in they have to. I am telling you that is BS...my hubby had to go to a Men's Wearhouse Sat evening (our wedding was Sunday) and try to get them to correct the tuxs. They DID NOTHING. So, they went to another tux store (not a Men's Wearhouse) to get the proper shoes, but the tux jackets were still wrong...that is what they had to wear at my wedding.
I would suggest you do not go with Men's Wearhouse..pay the few extra dollars for a company that has a good reputation and is reliable. They just started renting tuxs and they obviously DO NOT know what they are doing. I am going to be filing a coplaint with the company about this. Good luck.... -Joy

tuxes

I am using Bonaventure in Garden City (Franklin Ave) they are under $150 for everything...

FH is free and we opted for my dad 1/2 off and Bestmand 1/2 off...although we could have had one other free...but you have to pay for shoes and vest and tie

We used VIP in Syosset for a black tie wedding...it was also about $150 for everything and had a good experience...
