My gown is off-white (champagne). What color shirt should my FH wear under his tux????? Anyone else have this dilemma?

I think your best bet is to bring a swatch from your dress to the Tux place. Let them show you the best match. You dont want it to clash with your dress. HTH

I would go ivory or black. This is the problem that my FH and I are running into. Because my dress is champagne also and it's hard to find anything to match.

Bringing the swatch to the store and comparing is the best bet.
I am having a hard tiem with this. The ivory shirt at After Hours (where our stuff is set up) is VERY ivory... Neither a silver vest or a white vest (two colors we'd consider for FH) looked good on it.... We are going with white right now and I am bringing a swatch and just hoping my dress (a very light ivory) will look okay with white.

we brought a swatch of my dress to the tux store. if your dress isnt stark white and his shirt is, your dress will look 'dirty'
my dress is diamond white and fh's shirt is between white and ivory, they call is champagne

Definately bring a swatch of your dress to the tux place. Although your dress may not be white, and ivory shirt may be too yellow. FH and I were having this problem becuase my dress is pearl. We ended up going with a white shirt and an ivory vest with white buttons. It looks perfect! I attached a pic...excuse FH's scruff
Very nice. They call my dress champagne and it really is a dark off white. I will have to do the swatch thing. By the way, After Hours, are they reliable? That is this weekend's job-TUXES.

if u want some other options for tux places, we're using town and country tuxedo in wantagh (they also have another store in east meadow)
