Tux vest question

What color vests would you use with sage green BM dress? COnsidering sage but not sure I like how it looks...also considered silver/platinum since I have some silver in my dress. Suggestions?

silver - it would look nice - i like to put complimenting colors together instead of matching because the colors are usually slightly off

I think sage would look nice. If you think its to much sage for the guys you can do black or white vests with just a sage tie.

I'm also not a fan of the 'matching'. I'd go with either all black, which always looks so good, or a pewter color. I have navy dresses and this is what they're wearing:

I think sage looks great with browns and other earth tones too. I can picture sage BM dresses with beigey suits, but I guess that's more for daytime/casual weddings.

i'm doing sage green/seafoam BM dresses, too and i'm also wondering what color vests to use. i'm starting to lean towards like an ivory or beige. the shop even had a really pale butter yellow that i think might be a nice contrast,too... have to go back there with a peice of the dress materail.
so yeah... i agree not to try to match, cause theres so many shades of green- i'd go with a basic color like beige, silver, black... have fun!

I'd definatley go with silver-I think it would complement the sage nicely.
