So my Dad calls me today, and asks me if there is any reason why I keep reminding him and his wife about his tuxedo (I told each of them once). He then tells me that he is planning to go beginning of September!!! Do you think that is ok?? I only have a BM and my FH and they are all just going to get there tuxes wherever is convenient. My only request to BM is that it match brown. As for my Dad, told him that he doesnt have to match...so I guess it is ok for him to go then cause he doesnt need anything specific? What do you think?

MW told us that our guys have up until 2 weeks before the wedding to go get measured. I told the guys to go by August and FH STILL hasn't gone and neither has anyone else except my dad and my best friend. He should be ok, but I would call your tux place and double check.

If he is going to go anywhere, just call the local place near him and ask what their cutoff is, then tell him a week before that haha.

I meant for my BM he just had to get a vest that matched the brown of the girls..I gave him a swatch.
I told my dad, i didnt care what he wore, and that he should probably match his wife..

It will be fine. My 'boys' are growing like weeds still so the tux place told us to come in two weeks before.

everyone got their tuxedo's from Zeller's and some of them went a week and a half before the wedding to get measured; everything went fine.

Nobody needs to match anybody. Just have them wear black. Tuxes should only contain black and white, and look far better without color anyway. This isn't prom.
