My fiance was recently in a wedding where he had to pay over $150 for the tuxedo rental at Town and Country in East Meadow... A friend of his is getting married in a few months and is running into the same problems with price, I think he looked into After Hours at Sunrise Mall.
Anyone know is this really the going rate for tuxedo rentals (this inludes everything)? If you know of cheaper places, could you please let me know? Thanks :)

FHs guys are paying 145 I know that is a lot and I was not happy woth it, but the guy was really nice, he gave us two free tuxes and a fifty dollar gift certificate to PC RIchards. I love the tuxes too! He is paying 150 to be in his brothers wedding, so I guess this is about right.

the guys paid 140 for our wedding but we also received 2 free tuxs. dh was just in a wedding the other day and he paid 145. i think for anything designer that might be the going right although everyone keeps talking about mens warehouse its worth a shot

The price seems to be around $140 - $150 with everything at most places. I did find that a morning suit is less expensive (we found that for $100 plus the shoes).

Our GM are paying $125 from Feldman-Esquire in Lynbrook and FI's is free.

We signed up for a deal with Men's Wearhouse at a bridal show. FI gets a free tux and all GM get their rentals (tux and shoes) for $59.99. We are taking care of the cost as our groomsmen's gifts.

Our GM are paying 145. We are getting a $200 gift certificate which can be used anyway we want. WE are using it for FH's tux and one of the junior ushers tuxes.

They gave FH free tux and $20 off everyone elses tuxes, and gave 1/2 off the ring bearer's tuxes.
The groomsmen are paying about $155, and that is with shoes.
Personally, I think it is a MAJOR ripoff! I wish FH shoped around before he signed the contract. Oh well! What's done is done!j

Our guys paid $135 before Tax At Elite in Westbury now known as 1800Tuxedo in Franklin Square.
