Tuxedo Question
Yesterday, my FH and I went to search for a tuxedo for him. (BTW - we went to Bonaventure in Garden City- very good selection)We found a gold vest/tie combination that looked spectacular on him (I am biased!!
). My quesiton is what to do with the GM? My FH wants to have some differentiation - to show he is the groom. So what are you all doing? Is your FH in the same tux as his GM?

Re: Tuxedo Question
he is wearing a diferent variation of the same tux. the jacket and pants are black for all of them. he will be in a white vest and tie and the gm's will be in a black vest and tie. good luck!

Re: Tuxedo Question
My fiance is getting an ivory tie to distinguish him.FI and all GM are getting same tux, vest (color-wine and pattern-herringbone), and ivory shirts.

Re: Tuxedo Question
I agree that the husband should stand out a bit more with something different. FH is wearing same pattern as GM's but in a platinum and the GM's are wearing a cranberry color to match the girls dresses. His flowers should be different too, or so Burton's told me, but I agree with that too.

Re: Tuxedo Question
we are going to use bonaventure too, i was the most impressed with them. i am wearing a white shirt, vest and tie, the rest of the guys will be wearing white shirt and a dark grey-ish color vest and tie. oh, but the ringbearer will wear the same as me.my future fil wants to wear a bow tie, but we are trying to get him to be a little more stylish and get the vest/tie.

Re: Tuxedo Question
i agree that the husband should try to stand out...my FH is wearing a white tie and vest and also, a bit of a fancier tux....BUT i don't think i have ever seen a big enough difference between the groom and his GM....theres only so much you can do with tuxes...i was actually looking for a modern charcoal gray tux for the GM, but apparently they are nowhere to be found!!!
