Tuxedo Rant
I normally would NEVER say anything negative about a vendor but I am SOO angry with Black Tie Tuxedo in Smithtown, I thought It necessary to warn you.
A week ago, I spoked with the owner(in addition to sending him an email) of the store who then set up an Appointment with me for this past Sunday at 2pm. My fiance and I picked up my parents(who both have issues getting around but wanted to come) In anycase, after traveling about 30 minutes to the store....We find out that there is NO appointment because THE STORE IS CLOSED....YEP....CLOSED. Now, I wasn't the only one looking for an appointment that day, apparently there was another guy looking to get measured and was just as surprised to see the doors locked and NOONE HOME.
Well, my first thought was.....NO....this can't be right....maybe I GOT the day and time wrong. But, After checking my email for verification I confirmed that I in deed had the right day and time.
SOO, I call the owner...no answer...left a message saying how disappointed I was...but would appreciate a call back to clear up the confusion. Also sent an email as well.
NOW>>>reputable store....would call a potential client back right away to clear up the confusion and apologize.....NOT THIS STORE.. NOT A PEEP from them.
That being said, if you have had dealings with this place...hope all worked out for you. If you haven't and were considering using them....save yourself the trouble!!
