Can anyone recommend a place to get tuxes that does a good job with GM calling-in their measurements?
My FH will get measured in person once we chose a shop, but all 8 of the GM and FH's father will have to order them from afar.
This makes me REALLY nervous since most of them won't have a chance to try it on until the day before the wedding! Any suggestions???

Did you already use a tux place? What about The Men's Wearhouse?? They can go into one store for measurements near them, then maybe the store can ship the tuxes to another store closer to you.
They have great prices, Hope it helps.

We are in the same situation and are using Afterhours. All the men have to do is get measured at any tux shop or any Afterhours as they are all over the country. Afterhours gives you a list of measurements that are needed. Just make copies and mail this paper to the guys. This way there's little room for mistakes. The only problem is keeping on top of the guys to get it done. I'm still waiting on my BIL for 2 additional measurements. He lives in Missouri and the tux shop is on the corner by his house. I'm ready to choke him !!

Do you think it matters whether we choose a store that has locations across the country or a local vendor as long as we have the GMs' measurements taken correctly??

We have the same problem with OOT GM. We're also using Afterhours, they can actually get their tuxes at the closest one to them. A friend of mine used them and had no problems. I will admit, I'm a little nervous, but I'm hoping for the best!

We are also using Afterhours and we will be there on SUnday to get most of the GM fitted. The OOT GM will get fitted in another store by them. I think it should work fine. THe only thing that makes me nervous is to be sure he has the right tux. But I like the idea of sending him a picture or a copy of the order so there is no mistake.

We're also going through After Hours...my father and stepfather are from Seattle and my brother is from Cali...so, all they have to do is give the measurements to me and I bring them over...pretty easy and convenient!!

We used Tuxes by Flowerama in Forest Hills (one in Bayside) too and they fitted my brother's tux perfectly. He's in San Diego. I think the most important thing is that they use someone good to get their measurements. Why not use a chain that has locations in their respective areas?
