Could anyone give me the average rate for tuxedo rental for the groomsmen? We went to our first place today and we were quoted $149 for groomsmen, 1/2 price for ringbearer and free for the groom? Does this sound about right or is that a little high? Thanks !

That sounds about right. FH paid about the same (I think maybe a little higher) for a wedding he was recently in.

It depends ... Is it just your standard black tuxedo? If so you should be able to get a little bit of a better price for it. Did that include everything? Shoes?
We went to Feldmans in Lynbrook. FANTASTIC! We had a special ordered tuxedo which he brought the sample in just for us. They were slate gray for the girls who have been searching for them. We got the grooms for free, Dad's half price and Ring Bearer's was also discounted. The RB was not just a regular RB suit, but identical. I think they paid a little less than that for custom.
Definitely shop around - we were glad we did!

Yes, it included all, plus grooms free and 1/2 price on ring bearer. So I guess its in the right ball park. Thanks so much !

That seems normal. FH just got his tux for my brother's wedding and paid $135 but they aren't wearing ties or vests so that also makes it a little less.

We went to Men's Warehouse and I believe the deal was with 5 rentals, the groom is free. We had 4 GMs and my dad renting a tux so DH got his for free. I want to say for the full package (tux, shirt, vest, tie, cufflinks, shoes) the boys paid somewhere between $140-$160.

Feldman Tuxedo on Sunrise...1/2 off Fathers...Free for Groom...110 for Groomsmen...the kids tuxedos were cheaper to not sure on price. Shoes are included.
