Tuxedo Rental Prices?

What kind of prices are you all getting for tuxedo rentals? Ray's in Franklin Square had ones for about 125 incl tax for everything but shoes. It was 150 with shoes. With six rentals they through in the grooms (which was more) for free.

At Men's Wearhouse they had a range of prices. It looked like you could get a nice one for $99-$119 and about $150 before tax but they included everything. I believe they also throw in the grooms with a certain number rented.

Are these the prices what everyone is finding?

Any comments on the quality of Men' s Wearhouse tuxes? We are thinking of going with them since they have so many locations and the tuxes can be picked up and returned at any of their locations.

I just went with FH to get his tux fitting this weekend at Men's Warehouse.

We got the $59.99 tux package at an expo. Basically if we rent 4 tuxes (includes everything, from the tux itself to shoes, cufflinks, vest, etc.) we'll get the groom's tux free. So we signed up for our groomsmen, ringbearer and usher and my FH get his free. He's able to pick any tux and they get to pick any tux under $100. That's still a good selection of tuxes under 100.

It has been efficiently dealing with them so far, we are getting the tuxes 2 days before the wedding, and then drop then off one day after. FM me if you need more info.

After Hours has a similar deal at bridal expos. :)

Has anyone had any problems with Men's Wearhouse?

i went to mens warehouse. the prices ranged from $79-$150 including shoes, etc. They tack on a $5 'insurance' fee so you need not worry if a drunken groomsmen spills stuff on himself.

I picked one that was $99 and Margarita at Carle Place has been really helpful. I thought that was reasonable. But FH's men really stink and some have been complaining about the price.....

If you rent 4, the groom gets his for free.

i went to VIP in massapequa. we got a price of 125$ plus tax for rental including shoes plus tax. i used a coupon that i got in the mail.

I heard from some brides who had no problems at all with MW, and compliment it on how effortless and efficient the experience is.

I chose MW 'cus they are located nationwide so its convenient for my guys in the tri-state area.

The guy who helped us at the NYC downtown location is very nice and spent an hour with us patiently going over waht would match and what won't with the chocolate bridesmaid dresses. They don't have tuxes for you to try on there, but you can ask to try on some of the tux jackets they have there to get a sense of what looks good on the FH (double breasted vs single, 2 buttons vs. 3, etc.).

MW is also better than what I heard about After Hours which is also located nationwide.
