Re: Tuxedo Rentals

FH and I just went to Mens Wearhouse in Massapequa on Wednesday. We were referred to them by my Davids Bridal Consultant (that is where I got my bridesmaid dresses from). They recommended it because Mens Wearhouse is suppose to have the same exact colors that Davids Bridal offers to coordinate. We ordered our Tuxs from them, but honestly, I am very nervous about them. When we were there, I felt very rushed through the process. With one particular style that we REALLY liked, they kept telling me that it was not appropriate for an afternoon wedding and we shouldnt get it and they kept pushing another style on us. It also took them forever to input everything into the computer. I was very worried leaving there and still am nervous about it. Hopefully it will work out OK. I am also a very high maintenance bride - so it may just be my b*tchiness - Good luck!

Oh! They also have this promotion running right now that if you order 5 tuxs you get the grooms free, and if you order 10 tuxes you get the grooms tux free and either another free tux or 400 bucks credit towards the purchase of a suit.

Re: Tuxedo Rentals

I've posted this before, but it's relevant again since you're asking...

We got our tuxes from Esquire Tuxedos in Merrick. We worked with Mike, who is wonderful!

Almost everyone in our GP was out of town, including DH. Mike gave us forms for them to fill out, and he was able to have tuxes on hand the day before the wedding to fit everyone, regardless of whether they got measured professionally or at home (the way FIL did)! They also had a tailor on hand the day everyone picked up their tuxes, which was perfect!

The prices were also better than anywhere we were quoted.

Definitely worth using Esquire for your tuxes. One of the smoothest experiences of the entire wedding planning process!

Yes, and it's great - our girls and guys matched EXACTLY! (And looked incredible.) We had a few minor problems with them but nothing for me to tell you not to use MW.

Good luck!

S&S in Hicksville. They have everything in stock. We got FHs for free and dads half off. They were super nice and the prices were reasonable.
