Unless you have a need for it or are in a profession where it will be useful , I would say NO.I here most men buy tuxes later on in life.-Bill

If the price is right then go for it, If not then I would wait.

Re: Tuxedo's
my FH bought a tux a few years ago when we had 3 weddings that year. He's had 6 opportunities to wear it. Definitely worth it. (I saw opportunities htought b/c it no longer fits so he can't wear it!!!)...but it was a good investment and it's not a hassle every time you have a black tie affair to have to go rent something. men's wearhouse has good deals.

Re: Tuxedo's
I decided on smoking jackets instead of formal tux's. The main reason is the look - i don't look good in tux's. I am going to rent. I will not wear it again so it would not be a wise purchase.

Re: Tuxedo's
my fiance decided against it b/c
a. His weight fluctuates b. it was like 1000 w/o the SHIRT, SHOES, CUFF LINKS c. He'd only wear it to a black tie affair, which we probably won't be going to until we're older (cant' imagine anything in the near future besides the possibilty of a wedding.
