Tuxedos

I got a price quoted for a tux. It was $115. Is that average?

that's a little low. when we went to mens wearhouse FH's tux was $160 (it was on the high end). he's getting it for free though because he's ordering at least 6 others (5 GMs and his dad).

i think that's a great price!! FH just got fitted for his friend's wedding today. the tux is costing 170. and we asked the guy about working with them for our wedding and he says we don't even have enough men for him to give FH a tux for free! so i guess he's expensive if you got a quote for 115

That's about right, yes. We decided, I think, that the FH might buy one, because the price isn't that different and then we can use it for the Formal nights on our HM, and a couple of events we go to each year . . . . we realized two rentals were more than buying a tux, so if you think there will be a need, he can buy a classic, 'James Bond' style tux . . . .never goes out of style. Make sure you rent extra shirts because the groom and guys can get pretty hot, we're telling the guys to get THREE each, because it will be a 12 hour day in those puppies, in late May!
