ok we got into a little agument over this whole tuxedo thing. Does the father of the bride wear a tuxedo completly diff from the groomsmen????and how about the grooms father what does he wear???

The man I spoke with said that the Fathers can wear black or coordinate with the Mothers. I wouldn't have the dads wear the same vests as the groomsmen.

MY FFIL is wearing the same tux but a different shirt. My groomsmen and FH are wearing off-white shirts as my dress is not white so we will coordinate. FFIL will be wearing a white shirt. Truth be told, there arent going to be any pictures of the bridal party with my FFIL anyway so whats the difference?

That is what I said he can wear what ever... just have one thing diff from the guys...then FH was like well why does he have to rent it from the same place HElllooo they are staying for like 1 1/2 weeks he has to return it :):)
I dont think his father is going to weare a tuxedo beacasue they are leaving the next day???? oh well I guess we shall see

They can be the same tux, but the vest will probably be different.

I asked at the tuxedo place. They said my brother (who is escorting me down the aisle) should match groom. No FOG (or FOB, hence the brotherly escort), so we didn't ask, but perhaps you should. That way all arguments can be settled as having been deferred to the experts!

All of our guys wore the same mfg of tuxes.
Groom wore three button jacket (he's tall & thin) - with ivory vest Groomsmen wore two button jacket - with cinnamon vests (ring bearer with ivory vest) Dads wore one button jacket - with black vests
All wore ivory shirts.
The button recommendations were from the tuxedo shop owner.

My motto for the wedding (and what kept me sane) was wear what you want!
With that said, my FIL wore a nice black tux with goldish/brown accesories that matched my MIL.
My dad wore a black tie tux (with bow tie and all) daddy looked so cute!
I'll post pics if you want...I have to get them, they're at home.
ETA: Actually, there was a pic in my review...
FIL's tux was from Tuxedo Park, my daddy rented his in PR.

Well I don't know what your supposed to do but my dad is a big guy and my FH, GM and FFIL are all tall and slim so I am not sure if my dad will look good in the same style tux so I told my mom if she doesn't like the one that we pick for the guys my dad can where what ever she feels fits him best
