Where is everybody getting tuxedos from? I have two GM that live out of state but I want to stay away from some of the national chains since there has been negative reviews.
I live in Suffolk - any recommendations? When should we start looking?

We just went yesterday and had a really good experience with Tuxedo Park. We went to the Carle Place location but they also have a loc. in Huntington.

I think I'm getting mine from RSVP Tuxedo on Commack Road in Commack. They also have a loctaion in Bay Shore.

We have the same problem MY dad and his dad are both out of state also his BM is out of state we went to men's warehouse on Sat...you can not try on the tuxedo before you rent it...the convinece is great for those who are out of town. FH wants the top of the line tuxedo a super 100, just found out they also have super 140's...he just might BUY his tuxedo hey we buy our dress. We went to Rogers on Middle COuntry road in Centreach next to payless by the wall mart shopping center. LISA was GREAT they closed at 5pm we were there till 6pm trying to work with my picky FH...in the end he is mostlikly going to by one (not from them) and have the men rent from Rogers...ck them out you can actually try on the jackets and vest before you rent them

We had the same issue.... 1 gm in NY, NJ, TX, AL & OH!!!!!!!!!!!!! We went to Afterhours in Rossevelt Feild mall and selected the tux's and now all the oot gys need to do is go to any Afterhours near them to get measured and they can PICK UP the tux's in NY so they dont have to travel with them.

i also had a good experience with afterhours....the wedding was in south jersey, but DH, his dad, and all the groomsman were 2 hours away in north jersey... so it was the easiest place for me to go to the one in SJ to pick them out and for my dad.... and then all the other guys went to the one near them in north jersey to be measured and pick them up... there were no probs with either location, and all the guys looked great

I don't remember the name off hand, but when we went to the bridal expo at windows on the lake, there was a rep there for a tuxedo place. I have the same situation with my brother and father living everywhere but here, so I asked what could be done and I found out they were affiliated with small stores in various cities, you just have to ask. I just remember this guy worked in Smithtown, but there was another tuxedo store in Centereach.

Don't know yet... we're trying to find a nationwide chain where our guys can get them from bc we have some in NY, some in MD and some in DE!!
