Tuxedos - recommendations W. NASSAU only

I'm going to try again for suggestions in WESTERN NASSAU. FH doesn't want to travel for this and I don't see why it's necesary to go far for this anyway. Please suggest the places you were happy with in the Garden City/Franklin Square areas. Thanks! FH asked about Men's Warehouse - any experiences good or bad. Additional places would be most appreciated.

Also, FH has an usher who lives out of state, what is the best way to handle this? Like our dresses, are there style numbers that he can offer the usher and he can go to a local store near him go get the same tux? Do the ushers/groomsmen wear the same tux as the groom? The BP wears black ties and the groom wears white - correct? FH doesn't want a bow tie, but he was in a BP where the guys wore these other tie things, it was very nice. Thoughts?

I have a lot of OOT groomsmen, so we're thinking about using a national chain for Tuxedos...liek Men's Wearhouse, After Hours or David's Bridal.
That way they can all go get measured where they live and they send the tuxs here for the wedding!

Hands down - Bonaventure in Garden City. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The service is excellent and the prices are good.

Both of my brothers and my cousin got the tuxes for their weddings there and had great experiences.

I think if you're renting 5 tuxes, the groom gets his free. If it's 7 tuxes, you get 2 free. They do alterations on site, so you won't have any problems in the event someone's measurements were off. The guys try it on when they pick it up and if it doesn't fix, they fix it while you wait.

You really don't need to go to a national chain because you have OOT groomsmen. Our bestman is OOT and the tux place just gave us a card with all the needed measurements and said send this to Best Man, have him go to Any tux place by him, get measured and mail it back.
All the tux places do the measurements as a courtesy. When your tux place gets the numbers he will know what size to order.

As to styles, I was told that the Grooms could be different but the groomsmen should be the same or very similar.
