Just curious what everyone was doing for the groom & groomsmen. We opted for regular ties for the groomsmen & dads, but I'm not sure if that was the best decision. FH says it doesn't look 'like a tux' with a regular tie.

I love the tie look, I find that bow-ties make them look like they have no neck. They just look very uncomfortable, IMO.

Long ties. I also think it makes the bigger guys look like less like pinheads. Almost slimming (sort of )

we had the guys in ties, the bows make their necks look too squished ( sp).

I said regular tie and the dads wore bow ties, I kinda wished I would have switched it.

each looks nice. Our GM wore ties. One of our readers volunteered to rent a tux (that was SO sweat!) He asked if he could get a bow tie so that people would know that he wasn't in the BP

FH wants to wear the bowtie for himself; so I figure that will make him stand out from the other guys in the BP who will wear ties as well as the dads.
