Tuxedos...its kinda long, sorry.

We picked for the:
- Groom: white vest/tie, black jacket, pants and wingtip shirt
- Groomsmen: platinum vest/tie, black jacket, pants and wingtip shirt

So my questions are:
1-Should/does style of the Groom and Groomsmen Tuxedo have to match (jacket and shirts)?

2-Do you think it'll look OK, if the Groom is in the wingtip shirt (wingtip shirt: is the shirt with the small triangles as the collar of the shirt (see below - the one upside down)) and the Groomsmen in the regular collar shirt (the other one in the picture)?

3-Do you think it'll look OK, if the Groom has a different style jacket then the Groomsmen?


If anyone has pictures of the Groom in different Tuxedos then the Groomsmen, please post them.

I don't have any pictures, but I don't think it'll bad at all.....There's no reason for him to dress the same tux wise....he's the groom and should stand out...and sometimes it takes more than a white vest! U'll be fine! Best wishes!!

Here is what my FI and GM are wearing:

Groom - 3 buttin jacket, high collar white shirt with silver rhinstone button and silver vest

GM - 2 button jacket, wing tip collar white shirt, sage tie (long tie) and sage vest

I think it's fine if the Groom is different from the GM's. He should stand out from everyone else anyway- it's his special day also...
