Re: Tuxes
It's not that he does not like it, I just happen to love it...and I am not sure if he is sold on it.

Re: Tuxes
FH will most likely wear tails.. and a white shirt with an ivory vest... he's picking out his own tux for him, the dads and the ushers.

Re: Tuxes
This will be an issue for us. We disagree on styles, almost the same as with flowers. My FH seems to be fashion concious, more than expected of a groom

Re: Tuxes
FH said no tails, just a 4 button tuxedo(supposedly longer than a suit, b/c hes so tall)We did agree on a Charcoal color to offset the BMs platinum
No black b/c it's a morning wedding.

Re: Tuxes
lizlen2003- I like the 4 buttons. My brother wore that. He looked great in it and so did my other brother, the best man, but they are both 6'1' and taller. It doesn't look as great on the shorter guys but it worked out ok (even though my brother had what I would say is three shorter guys in the bridal party). My DH pretty much picked it himself and very similar to the picture above. He picked the Ralph Lauren 3-button tux (DH is just about 6 feet but appear shorter so cannot wear a 4 button), ivory shirt (my requirement) and ivory tie with a wine colored vests. The GM all wore the same tux, and vest just with the wine tie. Wine matched the BM dresses and I thought it looked very nice on the guys.
Someone asked for more pics - so here are some from my wedding

Re: Tuxes
I would like to see more tux pictures, we're going to look in a few weeks and really have no ideas, except no bowties!!!It's a Sunday day wedding, not that I really take that into account when picking stuff out, but I don't want it to be too formal.
So girls, please post some tux pics!
Thanks
christy

Re: Tuxes
bridetobe: thanks for confirming that for me, FH is 6'4'
He only has 2 GMs shorter than 6 foot, so we should be OK

I am not sure Christy, we just started looking. I guess he will go in a month or two maybe? When are they supposed to go and actually order it and ask the men to get measurements?Welcome New Vendors
