Tuxes

Tuxes

Now that FH has moved home for good we can finally start finalizing the last details.... tuxes being one of them.

We have a GM in TX and one in NC. Can anyone recommend somewhere that is convenient for all the guys? How does it work? Do they go to a local store to get sized and pick up when they get to NY? Or rent from their local store? I'm so clueless about this...

And the ring bearer - I was going to get him a tux from ebay, they are like $30 and very cute... but what about a coordinating vest/tie? The ebay tuxes all come with black (that I've seen).

Home you don't mind an 07 ers replying. That is exactly what the OOTers do. We had the same thing. They go to their local tux store and they will email or fax the measurements to your tux place. Its a courtesy. The guys will then pick them up the day before the wedding. Our RB's tux was free of charge. We went to Esquire Tuxedos in Merrick. Great quality suits, great service and great prices. Good Luck!

Pick a place near your wedding so the tuxes can be easily picked up and returned. Your GM can go to any tux shop to be professionally measured and fax/email to the shop you chose.

Thanks Ladies....

I assume we have to make appointments for tuxes?

The wedding is in Suffolk, where the rest of the guys live, so I will probably stick to that general vicinity.

FH is from upstate and all the groomsman are too...except my brother. They picked out a style and he is either going to call in the order or get it from around here (suffolk). Luckily FH used to work in a suit store in college so he knows a lot more then i do about this stuff!! Im giong to let him figure it out!

I know that my friends had this issue for their wedding and the way it worked for them was that each OOT GM got measured from a local place and sent my friend their measurements along with a deposit for the rental and my friend was then able to go to her chosen place here and place the order for them...HTH

We went to Ginos in Farmingdale for ours. They are AWESOME there!
They have everything in stock so if there is a problem the day of then the GM can go right away to fix it. We have 2 guys out of state and they gave us a form for them to go get measured with and they can either mail it back or order it online.

Also the price was FANTASTIC!!! FM me for more details!
