If my girls are in chocolate and the guys do black tuxes with brown vests and ties.
What does my dad do? My mom is wearing a brown dress also.. Is he ok in all black??

How about a gold or champagne color so the contrast is a little earier on the eye as he is walking you down the aisle. You can always have him in a pattern with champagne/gold and brown...

Yeah, I think you can do that. Anything pretty much goes these days. Your dad doesn't have to match the groomsmen.

That is what I did, all the guys had black tuxes, brown patterned vests, bm had neck ties, dads had bow ties.
