I went to tuxedo park and yeah we had to make an appt for this place, not all places do you need one though. But i would call just to make sure. If you get there and they are assisting others you might have to wait until they are done

I think FH and I are going to stop by RSVP in Bay Shore. I think they have a pretty large selection.

Re: tuxes
i went to 3 places:
1. Mens Wearhouse - like thier prices and selection, but they didnt have the tuxes in stock for FH to try on....i didnt like that
2. Tuxedo Park - IMHO way overpriced.....FH has been in 10 bridal parties in the last 4 years....never did he pay $250 for a tux rental...thats more than my BM dresses were!
3. Feldman Esquire in Merrick - LOVED them!!! booked them on the stop....tell them you found them on LIW and they gave a GREAT price....FH was free, and the dads were 40% off!

$250? really wow we didnt pay that much well our guys didn't. They offered dh a free tux but we said no we'd rather apply a discount to each guy so each guy got like 25% off or something like that and their tuxes i think were $185. I forgot how much dh's tux was but he got the shadow stripe tux which is a little more than the regular. I think it depends on the designer and style you get bc i dont think even dh's tux was $250 and he didnt get a basic black tux. I will admit their prices are a little bit more than some tux places but not $250 for the guys not for basic black tux for gm at least.
One thing I liked with Tuxedo park is that the guys didn't have to drop off their tuxes at the shop. Since they were a jt house vendor, tuxedo park offers pick up service so the guys just had to leave their tuxes at JT at end of night and Tuxedo park picked it up themselves the next day

yea i was so upset, b/c many girls including you have raved about them, and the place was beautiful.....we didnt do super simple, but we didnt ask for any fancy designer.....it was definately the red carpet treatment from them, the decision for us was simply a price point

i dont know bc none of our guys were getting charged that much, like i said our guys paid less than $200 so not sure what they were charging you $250 for. Maybe since we didnt get ties from them and we purchased our own but i dont think they would charge about $70 for ties to rent, but who knows. BUT i have said many times on here that their prices are a bit higher than many other places i will admit that. Alot of us did rave but alot of ppl mention higher prices, but still surprised about the $250 but yeah will depend on what you were looking at.

Re: tuxes
Roger's Tuxedos are great. Dads 1/2 off and groom free with a certain number of rentals...
