Tuxes

How much are you asking your groomsmen to pay for their tuxes. I found really nice ones today, but they were $220 and I think that's too much. TIA!

I'm pretty sure ours came out to less than $150 but they were all asked and okay with that

i wanted grey tuxes toooo but FH is being SUCH A DIVAAAA!

He also is being a baby about not getting white shirts because I told him my dress is diamond white and he doesn't seem to get the concept that his can't be white

eta: I'm going with FH and a couple of his groomsmen next sat so I'm not sure about prices yet.

over 200 seems high though. My bm's aren't even paying that much (without alterations)

How far in advance should you go for tuxes?? I'm getting married the end of July and was thinking of going sometime in April. Is that too soon??

I think ours are $115. We got a GREATTT deal at Bonaventure. Love them.

I haven't done this yet, but just judging by that price....NO WAY!

That is WAYYY too much to ask someone to spend. Especially guys.

My BMs aren't even paying that much, nor would I ever ask them to.

I think you need to shop around and see if you can get a better price...I personally wouldnt feel comfortable to ask that much from people...

i would be okay with going up to $250 i think because my FH had to pay $280 to buy a suit for one of our GMs weddings, which i thought was a bit much, but everyone still did it

Try Feldmans Tuxedos in Lynbrook on Sunrise...FH is free...fathers are half....
FH used them before for friends wedding and they had no problems

This is the highest we have heard - although that I believe is with just hte GM paying and FI tux is comped. You should check to see.
