We're using Menswear House and they said only about 3 weeks before.

Tuxedo Park requires 8-10 weeks i believe - they did a great job with the guy's tuxes for my wedding

The place I went to wanted them ordered two months before.

we are planning on going soon..approx 3 months from the wedding which gives the guys plenty of time in their busy schedule to go get measured :0)

I've heard 3 months
we went a little earlier to start the process since we're out of state, but we're making sure the guys get themselves measured 3 months out.

How were their prices?
a little high but the quality was worth it IMO. much nicer than bonaventure (the other place i went to)
they had a fitting party with the guys too where they all went to get sized and had some finger sandwiches and beers.
i think they paid $175 plus tax each (it was originally $200 plus tax)
DH bought his tux so he didn't get one 'free' for rental - instead they took $25 off each of his guys instead
our dad's rented elsewhere - my dad wanted high end so he went to Victor Talbot's (where i think he paid only around $200 or $225) and FIL went to Karako to keep costs down - I think he paid like $120. grandpa bought his tux at Karako very cheap and he got like two suits four shirts and 4 ties free with it
