How far in advance should we order the tuxes? Also, any suggestions on a good place to check out? Thanks!

I was asking the same thing the other day. The girls gave some good suggestions.
Now...to get the men to actually GO to these places, is the real challenge.

I made an appt for the 27th of this month and my wedding is Oct 6th. I think 2-3 months is plenty of time.

We picked what we wanted months ago. We're almost 2 months out and now at the point of actually getting the groomsmen to get measured. Oy!

I did it about 2 and a half months before (2 weeks ago), none of the guys have gone to get measured yet. That is the hard part. The store said really no one needs to get fitted until 2 weeks before.

I did Men's Wearhouse because I wanted the Vera Wang Black Collection, but also it's so convenient since the groomsmen are all over Long Island. They can go to any store to get fitted and pick it up.

This. Half of our guys are out of state. They can get measured by home and pick up the tuxes here.

FH just got measured today for a wedding he's in on Oct. 6th. The groom had asked that they all get measured by the end of July.

FH is going to go the end of August, which is a little early, but his brother is moving to California in September and wants to go with him. I don't think it matters as long as they go AT LEAST 2 months before!

ETA: I've heard good things about Foresto in Mineola and Esquire in Merrick, we'll probably go with one of those
