Tuxes- check! and Vendor Rave!

Tuxes- check! and Vendor Rave!

ok..i thought tuxes were going to be easy but it was such an ordeal! We went to 4 diff places but we weren't comfortable with any of them because none of them would tailor OR had european cut style jackets. We also needed somewhere that guys could just send in their measurements because they are scattered all over the state. FH and literally ALL the men except FFIL- so my dad, FH and the GM's, have giant shoulder's/chests and small waists so straight cut jackets just hang on them and looks terrible. Nobody would tailor rentals, including Men's Wearhouse (and FH said the shoes, the only choice of shoe they offer, were incredibly uncomfortable just having it on his feet for 2 minutes)

So we finally lucked out with Rico's Clothing Store in Center Moriches. They just do men's clothes, suits/tuxes etc. so they really know their stuff, as opposed to some tux rentals that were working out of dress shops we looked at. We worked with Anthony, he was awesome, and we felt like they actually knew what they were talking about, other places we looked at seemed to be completely clueless about suits and tuxes. And a day or two before the guys can go in, try them on and they will tailor them up quick if they need the waists pulled in or whatnot. AND the prices were much better! Ours are $145 including shoes for awesome lookingCalvin Klein 2 button notch lapel jackets... some others were going to be more like $170

So highly recommended, so far! We have a great feeling about them and have only heard wonderful things, if you are looking for tuxes soon definitely stop in!

This is the tux for the GM's off the build-a-tux thing online so the colors aren't 100% accurate and the pixels didn't save in very good quality lol.... but you get the idea... The BM's dresses are eggplant. FH and the dad's will have the same style/pattern but dads will have black vest and tie and FH will have a diamond white vest and tie.

The vest and tie are actually 'Bali Silver' which is like an antique silver.... the pic makes it look gray but in person it's more of a silver... it looks awesome :)

*Added a pic of BM dresses ...I was nice and didn't want to make the guys wear purple hehe

Thanks! It's actually a darker silver, it's called 'Bali Silver', but the pic looks like more of a gray. It's like an antique silver in person, it looks awesome :)

Very nice, it's something different because most of the grooms i see use ivory vests.

Oh he is, I thought I wrote that in there somewhere, the silver are for the GMs. FH will have the same pattern/style in diamond white to match my dress and the Dad's will have it in black. FH really wanted to match me with the white vest and tie, hehe.
