believe it or not my FH actually wants me to help him pick out the tuxes. we haven't done it yet though.

My FH thinks he is going to pick the Tuxes out himself --but I'm not too sure about that. I think we will either decide on a style before he goes, or I will send one of his more stylish friends to go with him.

You could go with him or not go with him. That's up to you. My fiancee was not too keen on going by himself--he's not always the best with color, coordination, etc etc. Really my only purpose was to give certain info (what color I was wearing and I brought a sample of the BM fabric) so we could get coordinating vests. But if you think he'll do OK by himself and KNOWS what's going on with your planning, then he could do it solo.
