How soon do we need to order tuxes for October? FH is dragging his heels cause he wants to lose more weight before measuring, but I'm getting a little nervous...

You can go and order what you want, the guys don't have to actually get measured until much closer to the date. We did our tuxes 7 months ago, FH will get measured this week for 6/25.
