I was hoping some of you would be able to recommend some tuxedo places in or near astoria. FH really wants to find a place close to where he and most of the groomsmen live, to make life a little easier. But, I don't know any places around there.

i'm from astoria and getting married there so i'm abou to start tux shopping so i'll get a list together for you as i get mine ready.. when is your wedding?

We're getting Married May 30, so I think I'm kinda late. I was just going to look in the yellow pages. I hope I don't have any problems getting them in time. But, I think it should be ok

Hi girls- Got the perfect tux shop for you On steinway street where the old Army and Navy store was (by Aerosoles) There is this little hidden tux shop Nice greek man who has been doing it for over 48 years and EXTREMELY reasonable in price
There is no sign up for it.. But we had 2 GM and 4 Little guys and he threw in FH tux rental for free!
After we went there- we came to find out a friend of ours used his as well and was very happy!
I liked him- because he was very sweet and he has an eye for it.. And you get to try things on there and size it up on the spot!

Now is the perfect time to go I was harassing FH for over a month- He went 4 weeks before the wedding.. and he was fine!

There are two tux places on Steinway street that are good... I have used them both ... my sis used the first place on steinway for her tuxes (I cant remember what the name is) and they were good... Also, I think there is an After Hours somewhere near Astoria

Thanks so much for this info! We went yesterday and got FH tux and made arrangements for all the GM & dad and kids to go get meaured for theirs. FH got to try on alot, like you said. He was happy!
