tuxes?? or girls whose BM are wearing navy blue..

My girls are wearing navy blue..What color vest are you doing/have done/or think I should do for the guys? My FH doesn't want silver for them...

I'm doing navy vests and ties.

My FH wsa a GM in a wedding a few years ago and wore black tuxes and navy vests. It looked great!

I had navy BM dresses! For the men, I put them in black tuxes with black vests and a navy tie. I dont like the whole matchy vest and tie look..its too 'prom' for me.

My girls are actually wearing dark pink and navy blue shoes, but the guys are wearing navy ties with black vests.

Why don't you match their vests to the flower color?

My girls are going to wear a color called 'regency blue' which is not quite as dark as navy, but similar. The bouquets are going to be made of my favorite flower in'hot' colors, like oranges, reds and pinks. Since my FH doesn't wait boutineeres, they're going to have 'hot' colored pocket squares and ties (we're going with a suit-looking tux, so no vest).

if he doesnt want silver i would stay with something in the blue family. you dont need to match 100% to the girls but at least close would still look nice, unless you are doing another color as well go with that color

We are going for a dark blue dress and instead of black tuxes we are going to do grey suits (no vests by request of FH) and the ties will be a pistachio green which is one of the accent colors (the BMs will hold antique geren hydrangeas).

My girls dresses are a dark navy and the gm's are wearing black tuxes with navy striped tie and plain navy vest. I loved the way it looked in the store. I thought about silver but Fh is wearing a silver tie and vest since we both don't like the white on white look.

We were in the same boat and it was a very tough decision.

We decided to sort of copy Nick Swisher from the Yankees wedding look. We're doing a classic black tux with a nice black tie, no vests (FH not a fan). Instead, our detail will be in the boutinneire (sp?). The groomsmen will match the bridesmaids flowers (still a work in progress), and my FH flower will be a white spray rose with some detail to match me.
