Right now the hottest thing in TV is reality TV. A few years ago... Talk shows were the big thing... Does anyone still watch TV talk shows as much as they used to back in the 90's?

I am not home to watch them anymore but in college my roommates and I were obsessed with Rikki Lake. We went to a taping and got on tv and my friend asked a question. When we were drunk we would leave messages for Rikki asking her to do a show on sorority life - spend a day withthe sorority life. This was way way before MTV's show soroity life - Rikki should have listened to us! We use to watch Richard Bey as well. We would call in for the topics even when they didn't apply to us. Every now and then the show people would call us and we would play along for fun or get embarrassed and hang up.

Same here - not home during the day to watch them. I didnt know some of those were still on!
Back in the day - I loved Jenny Jones - what a cheesefest.
Now, on my occasional day off during the week (ie mental health day!) - I love to watch Ellen and The View!
