Twelfth Night contracts

Does it always say that a photographer is REQUESTED? Has anyone requested a certain photographer and had it changed on them?

Don't get the sarcasm...it was because I wanted a particular photographer and that photographer became available after I booked...shocking, I know.

Honestly didn't mean any sarcasm so I'm sorry if it came across that way. I was confused and went with the confused face. I'd put some sort of sorry face in here now but I don't want to choose the wrong one!

I wondered if they have changed the way they do the cotracts. I haven't actually seen it yet, but FH said that there is some clause that says they won't say any specific photographer since it may change and therefore the contract just says that we requested Dominic.

I'll check my contract tonight.

It's probably just in case something extraordinary happens and the photographer you had 'requested' can't make it, they aren't technically breaking the contract.

OK...I'm obviously on b!tch mode and PMSing so my apologies. I'll check my contract tonight. But I have to say, I was surprised at the 'contract' since it really has very little to no legalese on it. It's basically a piece of paper from a PC. But I'm almost 100% sure mine said 'request' as well.

I had them write both names though...you should do the same...everyone should, becuase the closer you get, the crazier you get and peace of mind is priceless.

So we are all good I hope! I'm a little stressed in general and don't want to think someone I never met hates me! Ahh!

Anyhoo...I Appreciate you guys checking your contracts for me! Any recommendations for the 2nd photographer besides Geraldine? I don't think they mentioned her as an option.

I signed the contract this weekend and I will review it at home later. But I do recall a provision that no photographer can be guaranteed that there may be a need to have another one cover the event. There are a bunch of disclaimers and the contract limits liability to a deposit. This is all from memory. Don't be fooled that since the contract does not look like it is very 'legal' and the relevant terms and disclaimers are in there.
