I know it's horrible! They also said that there hasn't been any problems like that since they opened in like the 60s so what the heck is going on all of a sudden???

I think someone is doing this on purpose. I know that sounds weird, but its just too much too soon after years with a clean record!

I will SWEAR that someone got thrown off the swings when I was a kid. I have NEVER forgotten that story. Does anyone else remember that?

might have happened..... the article just said they didnt have severe injuries since the park opened.....
the employee death sounded like perhaps someone pushed him and no one saw it...... the one with the lady coming out of the ride.....newsday had quoted someone who said the attendant was all shook up and said the light was green to go.... that ride is pretty rough, spins around like a pinwheel and each branch spins and you end up upside down...

I did hear of someone getting thrown off the swings, also around the block from my moms in Medford is Boomers? and I believe the whole swing thing toppled over with kids on it a few years ago. i think the place was called something else before it happened. Then they changed the name.

Anyone think the first one was suicide? I know that is a terrible thing to think of, but why did he run the ride again and fall and not get out of the way?

That's what I was thinking, suicide or murder. It just seems to weird to be an accident. Like you said, why run it again with no people if you didn't have to?
