Does anyone have two dogs and live in an apartment? We are actually in contract to buy a house but its not going to happen for another two months or so. So basically I was just wondering if its really hard. We found another puggle on petfinder and we might qualify for it. I dont want to pass it up because we want a friend for Missy because she just adores other dogs. Plus the dog is just around Missy's age and almost the same size. I was gonna wait until the house but he will be gone. Supposedly they have a lot of applications for him already.

Re: Two dogs in an apartment.
Missy is still a brat!!!!! I sometimes think its a combination of things. I think she is bored and I also think that she is spoiled rotten. She needs so much attention and when she doesnt get it she gets mad and nips and goes nuts. Its slowly coming along. I think it was us that created a monster, although I dont sometimes know how because we are constantly correcting her. We are kinda having the same problems Jen2999 is having with Fred. We just hope that having another dog will be a good thing because when Missy has some exercise she is such a good dog. Plus she loves doggies. Thanks for asking

Re: Two dogs in an apartment.
So we went to go see the puggle on Saturday and he is soo cute, but for now we think it will be too much in the apartment. He is so high energy (much more than Missy) and he probably would'nt get enough exercise if we adopted him now. I wish we had our house. He got along with Missy too. Once we get the house we will be looking again. He is on petfinder if anyone is interested in filling out an application. He is a great dog but you need a house for him with a yard. Im so sad...

So sorry, to hear that.
I am so stubborn, could you possibly, walk him 2x a day with Missy together. Paper train him, for the rest, until u move in to the house?
Sometimes-in live you have to make sacrafices. I would go for it.

Good Luck - Everything will work out in the end.....If you (unfortunately) can't get him, maybe its because there is something better comiing in the future.
