1-- Besides the initial purchase and pickup, how many fittings did you have?
2-- Is there a storage fee, from the time your gown comes in until the first fitting, if you want to leave it at the store?

I can answer #2. For me there would have been a storage charge if you leave it there over 30 days. Since my dress came in 8 motns before the wedding I had to pick it up. That is the Commack Wedding Center. I don't know if other places have the same policy.

I don't have to pay a storage fee for mine. I had my first fitting last week and I have an appt to go back in another month for my next fitting. i think it depends on how much work you need to have done on the gown and also on things like if you lose a bunch of weight right before the wedding. my gown only needs the hem and the bustle so my next fitting might be my last. i think 2-3 fittings is normal though.
