Two legends gone in one day

My heart is kind of hurting.

Two writers who shaped my life, gone in the same day.

Goodnight, Howard Zinn and J.D. Salinger. I can only imagine the conversations these two are going to have with the man upstairs.

I knew about JD Salinger- but not about Howard Zinn- So sad

The other day I was packing up my books and bringing them over to FH's place.

I had four copies of 'Catcher'. FH is like 'why do you have four copies of it?'

My response was 'because sometimes you really need to read it right at that very moment and can't wait until you get home to it'

And so I acquired four copies, all of which were packed up, none of which ended up in the donation box.

sooo sad

I heard about Howard ZInn last night. So sad :( and of course J.D. :(

I think he would...he was actually fascinated with religions and was a member of a Universalist church.

It's one of the only things that people ever got to know about him.

unfortunately, i've been saying it a lot in the wedding context

No wonder there were JD Salinger quotes being posted on Facebook.
