Two quick questions...

1.) Has anyone seen 'TROY' or 'VAN HELSING' ? How were they?

2.) I have never gotten into American Idol -- what is it about the show that appeals to you most? Just curious.

I have not seen either movie.

I like American Idol because it's interesting watching the contestants singing every week and wondering if they'll do good or not.

1. NO

2. in the beginning watching how bad some people actually are that have the balls to get up and think they ROCK... after that I stop watching so I cant help you out.

FH saw Van Helsing.
He said it was ok. He saw a matinee otherwise it wouldn't have been worth it.
Neither of us have seen Troy.

I liked the first American Idol a lot.

I like to watch people sing.
And I like competition. I like to try & figure out who will win.

1. Yes to Troy. It wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. No to Van Helsing. FH was really excited to see it, but a bunch of our friends went and hated it.
2. Don't watch it.

haven't seen troy. Van Helsing was OK....a bit too much in the special effects & the story was a bit far-fetched. That girl is pretty cool & I love Hugh Jackman, so it was bearable.

American Idol. I used to watch it, because you got to see some really good talent. I hate it this seaason b/c people got through that really stunk, and it became a complete & utter popularity contest or people will vote just b/c Simon makes a comment about how they shouldn't vote for someone.

1. No, saw Shrek 2 instead (heard Van Horror bit the big one-shame)

2. Is that still on TV? *shrug*

1. saw Van Helsing opening night...total disappointment. Haven't seen Troy.

2. I'll occasionally watch American Idol in the beginning when they're auditioning. That part can be funny. Once they have their finalists, I'm pretty much uninterested.

We saw Troy over this weekend. I enjoyed it a lot. Then again, I always like those kind of movies. But, yeah, I would recommend it.

Van Helsing---NO. I said this one was too scary for me. I'm such a wuss.

Oh I forgot the second question. Don't watch it. But, I can't believe what fanatics my parents are! I know they watch it religiously!

I liked Vna Helsing, not great but def entertaining.

I don;t watch American Idol- I cannot commit myself to a show that is on more than one night a week.

I saw Troy on Sunday.

IMO, it was okay, not great, but not bad either. It had all of the makings of an epic, but none of the heart. Plus, Brad Pitt really stood out being the only one w/o an accent and that just bothered me. Also, I was hoping it had more about Greek mythology, but I found it to be a bit inconsistent.
