two weeks out and I need some help please

Hello girls,
I don't post here often but I do get wonderful ideas from reading all of the posts and looking at pictures. I have to say this site has been such a go to for me when I get an idea.
Anyway...
On today's list is to make our table numbers onto pictures. What I want to do is have a 5 x7 picture of my dog and somewhere on the picture write out the words one, two, three, etc.
I have been trying all morning in word and powerpoint and it is working. I know many of you girls have had some really creative ways of displaying your table numbers so I thought someone out there can put me in the right direction.

I think Powerpoint would work.

the most simple way I can think of is this:

Open a page,
go to page setup & make it 5x7.
Then lay the photo down.
Then insert a text box over the photo.

you can also use word. Create a text box and insert picture. Create another text box in the first one and type what you want then right click the text box. Click 'send to front' and take out the text box border.
