It is a mock wedding put on by LIW with a ceremony and dinner and dancing. The couple is actually a 2012 bride and the bridal party is 2013 brides.

2013 brides as the BP? I thought every yrs TWOTY used brides who were from the yr b4 for both bride & groom & BP??? I know it was like that this yr.. they were all 2011 brides.

Can someone explain or link me to a page where the details of TWOTY are explained? I kind of understand the concept, but who is invited? All brides or just 2013? Who can we bring? What makes it so amazing? I am so excited I need to know the details!!

The 2012 brides and their significant others act as the bride, groom, and bridal party. You buy tickets for either yourself or you and FH. The 2012 brides get a table and the rest of the tables are brides for the upcoming years. To purchase tickets you need a certain amount of posts on LIW. After you buy a ticket you are sent an invitation (it's donated by a vendor so you can see their work) You get to go to a reception hall to see how a ceremony and reception are performed their. You get raffle tickets to put into different prizes (and there are a ton). You get to party with your future brides and have a good time and at the end you find out who won prizes.

I went for the 2011 one, but missed this years because of work....i really hope I can make the 2013 one!!!
Oh i'm totally applying when the time comes to be in the bridal party for 2014!!!!
